Santa Goes Blue Golf Tournament

Friday, December 1st beginning at 10am

We're doing something a bit different this year for our annual charity, the Dorchester County Toy Drive! Our spring golf tournament is always a hit and we hope this will be just as popular! All proceeds from this event will go directly towards gifts for children in need in our community, fascilitated through Junior Achievement, a non-profit we work closely with to give children in Dorchester County the resources they need to grow and prosper. We are seeking sponsors for the tournament, lunch and bar services, and for each hole. Please reach out to paul@blueruinbar.com for more information on cost and advertising. Teams should also email Paul to reserve their spot! The cost to enter, $400, will include game play, lunch, and afternoon snacks from Taqueria Floritas for each team member!

Winter Vendor Market

December 16th from 3pm to 8pm

We are co-hosting our second annual holiday vendor market with Free Spirit Threads on Saturday, December 16th in the warehouse behind Blue Ruin (322 Gay St)! Our space has expanded, allowing for over 20 vendors and a better shopping experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some last minute Christmas gifts or treat yourself to something special while supporting local artisans and small businesses. Our outdoor bar will be up and running with wide range of drinks and warm specialty cocktails! Taqueria Floritas will be there selling their amazing Mexican food. New Years Eve 24K Gold Party

December 31st from 6pm-1am

Our annual NYE celebration is upon us! This year, in honor of our beloved manager Paul celebrating his 5oth birthday, also called his golden era, on December 31st, the theme will be 24K gold! We'll be dressed to the nines and hope you join us. We will be having to sets of coursed dinners for the evening: reservations can be made for a Three Course Dinner from 5pm to 7:30pm and for a Four Course Dinner with champagne from 7:30pm to 9pm. 

At 10pm, friends of Paul are welcomed to 'roast' him in honor of the many years we've had to put up with him! If you know us, this may be a brutal and hilarious show of love.

Live music will commence to entertain us for the evening, followed by our annual lit ball drop which will happen on the corner of Race and Poplar St at the entrance to Blue Ruin at midnight. Reserve your table now by emailing paul@blueruinbar.com.
